Assistance from the Fiji Islands Trade and Investment Bureau (FTIB; www.ftib.org.fj) has enabled the BTIB to provide the Cook Islands Retail Sector with a headstart to establish possible cost effective links in Fiji. An advantage that the Cook Islands has in sourcing products and prices from Fiji is the strength of the New Zealand Dollar, to that of the Fiji Dollar. Prices may still be competitive in a different currency i.e. US Dollar however always ensure that you are clear on the currency being quoted to avoid any confusion.
